Cuatro Fincas Winery results from the union of two viticulture families, who, as the time went by, found their way in their third generation. The Patti Family, who was settled in the East of Mendoza, founded the winery Salvador Patti in 1965. The Loconte Family, rooted in the South of Italy, migrated to Argentina while running away from the Second World War. They had launched the family winery, All Agricolo, located in Andria, Italy.
Both families lived in Mendoza, without forgetting their strong traditions about the winemaking sector. Then, the second generation empowered the foundation of our grandparents to then welcome their grandchildren: Franco Patti Giacobone and David Loconte, who built the bonds of their forefathers into one winery: “Cuatro Fincas”.
Aiming to vertically fuse the business, Franco and David started to create value to their wines bottling them with marks which reflect their tradition. The most important vineyards are four: Santa Blanca, Monte Caseros, Las Chimbas and Palmira. That’s why the name of our winery: Cuatro Fincas (four vineyards).
